
Two young men were killed Wednesday afternoon in a shooting incident in the Harperville community, according to local authorities. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of shots fired on King Road around 4 p.m., where they discovered two male victims who were pronounced dead at the scene.
Scott County Coroner Hunter Wolf confirmed the identities of the victims as 18-year-old Todd Rashaud and 19-year-old Deionteque Thyun Strong.
The Sheriff’s Department has stated that the investigation is still in its early stages, and the events leading up to the shooting remain unclear. Investigators are currently collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses as they work to piece together what happened.
