Two Killed in Early-Morning I-10 Crash Near Boyt Road
A devastating crash on Interstate 10 early Monday morning claimed the lives of Cameron Gerard, 34, of Beaumont, and Alexandria Jones, 33, of Lumberton. The collision occurred around 5:20 a.m. near Boyt Road, forcing the closure of eastbound lanes and causing significant delays.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Gerard’s 2015 Dodge Charger failed to safely change lanes, striking a water-filled barrier and then a concrete barrier head-on. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
