Authorities have identified two people who tragically lost their lives in unrelated crashes over the weekend in Greene County.
According to the Greene County Coroner’s Office, 16-year-old Tyson Williamson, of Xenia, was killed late Friday night following a single-vehicle accident in Xenia Township. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened around 8:57 p.m. on Brush Row Road near Stevenson Road.
Investigators say Williamson was driving a 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser when the car veered off the right side of the roadway. After overcorrecting, the vehicle crossed the opposite lane, struck multiple fences, overturned, and eventually came to a stop. Four juveniles were inside the car at the time. Williamson was pronounced dead at the scene, while three passengers were rushed to nearby hospitals with injuries.
In a separate tragedy on Saturday evening, 46-year-old Kristina Lewis, of Fairborn, died in a two-vehicle collision along State Route 235 between I-675 and Trebein Road. Fairborn police said the crash occurred shortly after 5 p.m.
Both incidents are currently under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Fairborn Police Department.
