Tyler Mears Cause of Death – With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Tyler Mears, a beloved son, brother, and friend, on November 8, 2024, at 30. Tyler, a lifelong Latrobe, Pennsylvania resident, left an indelible legacy of kindness, laughter and love.
Born March 16, 1994, to John and Karen Mears, Tyler grew up as a bright, energetic, caring young man. He attended Greater Latrobe High School, exceling in football and music.

Tyler worked locally, becoming a familiar face. His outgoing nature suited customer service, where he connected with people, offering kindness.
Tyler cherished family time, especially with parents John and Karen, siblings Jordan and Brooke, and grandmother Barbara. His loyalty, kindness and humor made him a beloved friend. Tyler enjoyed outdoors, sports and music.
A memorial service will be held November 14, 2024, 1:00 PM, St. James Church, Latrobe. Visitation: 11:00 AM-12:45 PM. Reception to follow at Latrobe Country Club.
