The Janesville, Wisconsin community is mourning the tragic loss of Tyler Schimke, who sadly passed away following an accident.
Loved ones describe Tyler as a kind-hearted and hardworking young man whose presence left a lasting impression on everyone around him. He was admired for his strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, and the pride he took in every task — whether at work, spending time with friends, or supporting his family.
Beyond his professional life, Tyler cherished moments with loved ones and valued giving back to his community. Friends remember his laughter, generosity, and the warmth he brought to every gathering.
His sudden passing has left family, friends, and neighbors deeply heartbroken. As they navigate this difficult time, they invite the community to keep Tyler in their thoughts and prayers and to honor his memory by sharing stories of the joy and kindness he brought into their lives.
Tyler’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
I’ve known Tyler since he came through our RCIA program to become Catholic here at St. Mary’s about a dozen years ago. He was quite possibly the most ready candidate to embrace Catholicism that I’ve ever worked with. This wasn’t just to become Catholic either. He lived every day since as one who truly lives the teaching of Jesus and our faith. He was good, kind, just and charitable. My heart cries when I think how someone so good of this world has been lost so young. The Lord must need him for some very important work. God bless you Tyler. We love you!
