A shocking case out of Delhi has revealed the murder of 32-year-old UPSC aspirant, Ram Kesh Meena, whose charred body was found inside his Timarpur flat on October 6. What initially appeared to be a tragic fire has now been exposed as a carefully staged homicide orchestrated by his live-in partner, 21-year-old Amrita Chauhan, along with her ex-boyfriend, Sumit Kashyap, and their associate, Sandeep Kumar.
According to Delhi Police, the gruesome act was allegedly motivated by Meena’s refusal to delete intimate videos of Amrita and at least 15 other women stored on his devices. Investigators believe the trio brutally beat and strangled Meena before attempting to destroy evidence by setting the flat on fire using a mixture of oil, ghee, wine, and a gas cylinder — an effort to disguise the killing as an accidental blaze.

CCTV footage collected from the area and a series of raids conducted between October 18 and 23 led to the suspects’ arrest. Authorities disclosed that Amrita, a forensic science student, may have leveraged her academic knowledge to help plan the cover-up and mislead investigators.
Police sources said the crime reflects a calculated attempt to erase both physical and digital traces of evidence, but forensic experts were able to piece together the truth through burn pattern analysis and electronic data recovery.
The case has reignited public debate over digital privacy and voyeurism, as Meena’s alleged actions highlight the growing misuse of personal content. Under Indian law, voyeurism is a criminal offense punishable by up to seven years in prison for repeat offenders.
Authorities continue to analyze Meena’s electronic devices to identify other potential victims. Meanwhile, all three accused remain in custody as the investigation expands.
