Authorities are investigating the tragic death of 23-year-old Jusus Bagot, a Venezuelan national, who was electrocuted while performing yard work at his residence in Bachelors Adventure, East Coast Demerara, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

According to preliminary reports from local police, Bagot was cleaning his yard when he came into contact with an electrical source, resulting in fatal injuries. Emergency responders were called to the scene, but he was pronounced dead at the location by a attending doctor.
