Authorities have identified 25-year-old Jujuan Jeffers of Wilmington, Delaware, as the victim fatally shot during a tragic incident outside Lincoln University’s International Cultural Center on Saturday night. The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m., leaving six other individuals injured, all between the ages of 20 and 25.
According to investigators, one of the wounded victims is a current Lincoln University student, another is an alumnus, while the remaining four have no known connection to the college. Police say the surviving victims are all expected to recover.

Zecqueous Morgan-Thompson, also of Wilmington, was taken into custody at the scene after officers spotted him carrying a loaded firearm. He has been charged with carrying a concealed firearm without a license and is currently being held at Chester County Prison on $25,000 bail.
Morgan-Thompson reportedly told police that the gun belonged to his mother and that he had brought it from Wilmington. Authorities are conducting ballistic testing to determine if the firearm was used in the shooting. However, police emphasized that Morgan-Thompson has not been accused of the shooting itself, as evidence suggests there may have been more than one shooter involved.
The investigation remains active as law enforcement continues to gather evidence and identify additional suspects.
The Lincoln University community has been left shaken by the violence, which disrupted what was supposed to be a peaceful night on campus. Students and staff are being offered counseling and support as the university mourns the loss of a young life and prays for the recovery of the injured.
