Authorities have identified the man who died in a tragic car accident over the weekend in Lakeville, Massachusetts, as 65-year-old Tim Crowley.
According to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, the fatal crash happened around 7 p.m. on Saturday in the area of Freetown Street near Heather Hills Lane. Emergency crews from the Lakeville Fire Department responded to the scene, where they found one of the vehicles engulfed in flames.
First responders managed to pull Crowley from the burning vehicle, but despite their efforts, he was later pronounced dead.
Three other individuals involved in the two-vehicle crash were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their current conditions have not been released.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash. Police say it remains an active investigation by local authorities and accident reconstruction teams.
The incident has left the Lakeville community in shock as friends and family mourn the loss of Tim Crowley, remembered as a kind and well-respected resident.
