Visalia Community Shocked by Tragic Murder-Suicide Involving Local CCW Instructor Edward Reynoso
A devastating incident early Monday morning has left the Visalia community in shock after a suspected murder-suicide involving local firearms instructor Edward “Eddie” Reynoso and his wife, Stephanie Reynoso. The tragic event unfolded around 12:29 a.m. when Visalia Police responded to a family disturbance report in the 2700 block of East La Vida Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered both Edward and Stephanie deceased from gunshot wounds inside their residence.

Authorities believe Edward Reynoso shot his wife before taking his own life. The couple, who were parents to two children, had been well-known figures in their community. Edward, originally from Exeter, CA, was a prominent Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) instructor and a respected figure in the firearms education community. He taught through California Concealed Carry Permit Training and the Utah CCW program, and was a DOJ-certified Firearms and Safety instructor across Tulare, Kings, and Fresno counties.
