Detectives from the Visalia Police Department are investigating what appears to be a murder-suicide after two individuals were found dead early Monday morning in a residence on the city’s east side. Officers responded to a family disturbance call around 12:29 a.m. in the 2700 block of East La Vida Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered a man and a woman deceased inside the home.
The department’s Violent Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation, treating the case as a suspected murder-suicide. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims or provided further details on the circumstances surrounding their deaths. The investigation remains ongoing, with officials promising to release additional information as it becomes available.
