Watervliet, N.Y. – Watervliet Police have confirmed that 41-year-old Christopher Dilallo has died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on Friday morning.

Dilallo was initially taken to Albany Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, including burns covering approximately 60% of his body. He was later transferred to Syracuse, N.Y., where he passed away on Sunday morning.
The crash occurred around 5:15 a.m. at the intersection of 19th Street and 12th Avenue. Police reported that Dilallo was traveling westbound on 19th Street when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle turning left from 12th Avenue onto 19th Street.
Authorities have stated that the car’s driver is cooperating with the ongoing investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time.
