WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning in West Palm Beach.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Australian Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered an individual suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name pending family notification. Details about what led up to the shooting remain unclear, and investigators have not announced any arrests or identified possible suspects.
The area was temporarily cordoned off as detectives processed evidence and interviewed witnesses. Police are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-458-8477.
