WILMINGTON – Wilmington Police have identified a man and woman found dead inside a Wilmington apartment Tuesday morning in what investigators confirm was a domestic-violence-related murder-suicide.
The two have been identified as 40-year-old Delonte Reed and 46-year-old Eureka McDonald, both residents of the Hanover Apartments on Wilshire Boulevard.

Police were called to the apartment complex just before 11 a.m. for a report of a disturbance. Upon entering a unit, officers discovered the two adults deceased.
Wilmington Police Department spokesperson Greg Willett emphasized that the incident was contained. “There was no immediate threat to the public,” Willett stated. “This appears to be a domestic situation confined to the apartment involved.”
