The Xavier Charter School community is grieving the tragic passing of Adrian Dustin Miller, a 17-year-old student who died in September 2025.

Adrian was remembered by classmates, teachers, friends, and family as a bright, thoughtful, and creative individual whose kindness and spirit touched many lives. Their quick wit, unique outlook, and compassionate heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew them.
Authorities confirmed that Adrian’s death was the result of an apparent suicide, a loss that has deeply shaken the school community. Support services, including counselors and mental health professionals, have been made available to students and staff.
While the tragedy highlights the struggles young people may face, Adrian’s life is being remembered for the joy, ideas, and dreams they shared with others. Their memory will continue to live on through the countless lives they touched.
Adrian is survived by loving family members, close friends, and a school community united in grief. A memorial service will be announced by the family in the coming days.
