Yakima, WA: Four injured, two arrested following shooting incident at Safeway

Yakima Shooting Investigations: Four people have been injured and two arrested after a shooting at Yakima, Washington’sSafeway store on Friday. Police were called to the scene for a report of multiple people injured at a Yakima grocery store Friday night.

The gunshot occurred shortly before 7 p.m. in the Safeway parking lot on the 2200 block of West Nob Hill. Police officers and first responders from the Yakima Police Department and the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office are on the scene in large numbers. According to the Yakima Scanner, two people have been apprehended in connection with the crime. The victims were sent to the hospital for treatment.

This is the third gunshot in Yakima this week, with the second occurring on Friday. On Thursday, investigators said a kid opened fire on their landlord, who was attempting to serve an eviction notice.
